Karaoke singing is a very popular pastime for parties and other events. This program lets you partially remove the vocals of songs. I say "partially" because, depending on the song, in many cases, the vocals still can be heard, albeit at a lower volume.
The program is very easy to use. You only need to follow two easy steps. First, you need to select the sound file whose vocals you want to remove. When clicking on this option, the program will open your computer's Music folder. Then, you only need to double-click on the song you choose, and the program will load it. The second step is Remove vocal. You can simply click on the Create Karaoke button, leaving the default Gain level, or adjust it before doing so, according to the result you want to achieve. I recommend you to use different gain levels to obtain the best output.
As I said earlier, despite its name, the program does not remove the vocals completely, and this may be its main drawback. Also, it does not have a Help file. Nevertheless, its easiness of use can compensate these disadvantages.
The shareware version of the program only allows you to remove the vocals of 30 seconds of each song. If you want to use it to its full capabilities, then you will need to purchase a license, which is rather affordable.

It's not an algorithm, it's just phase shifting.
